For this assignment, we were instructed to work with a partner in order to make a story composed of inanimate objects and 15 shots of our choice. I partnered up with my friend, and after some brainstorming, we came up with an idea.
We decided to make a story where 2 brothers (pencils) were hanging out when they saw a strange alien ship (pencil case). This ship stopped above them and an alien came floating down (green highlighter). The alien then fought the brothers and ended up taking one of them into the spaceship, but the other brother came to fight the alien, defeated him, and got his brother back.
I think we did a good job on picking specific shots and angles for each scene, but the storyline was kind of basic. We couldn't come up with anything creative so we did that, but I would have liked to make a more unique story. Other than that, I think our project was good and the purpose of the shots was fairly clear.
