Production post for CCRs

 So I just finished filming my first CCR, and I will start on my second one tomorrow. For the first one I did an introduction where Xander gets a call from the antagonist and he tells him to check his mailbox one last time in order to get his parents back. Inside the mailbox was an envelope with CCR questions 1 and 2.

This was the first scene of my CCR. I got my sister to record me while I sat in the same position that I was in the actual film. I did this because I wanted to make a connection to the opening through this scene. It was basically the same thing as the first scene of the film except the caller dialogue was different. The caller tells him to check his mailbox one last time in order to get his parents back.

This is the second scene, where Xander checks his mailbox. Again, I got my sister to record me. In this scene, he opens the mailbox and finds a mysterious envelope. In this envelope are the CCR questions but he doesn't open it yet. He says "let's go open this inside" and the shot ends.

This was the last scene of my CCR questions 1 and 2. I used my computer where I had the script pulled up and I also used it to hold my phone. Here I opened the envelope and started answering the questions. So I didn't have to memorize the whole thing, I used various 1-2 minute clips and I will use editing to avoid jump cuts. I plan to add extracts of my film and images to provide some visual entertainment for the audience and not make it me just talking in front of the camera the whole time.

That sums up the production stage of my first CCR. I plan to start editing it today and film the second one tomorrow. This way, I can be done with filming and have plenty of time to edit and refine the CCRs.
